
In Moldova, the volume of investments in long-term assets in 2023 amounted to 32 billion 246.8 million lei and decreased by 1% compared to 2022.
As the InfoMarket agency was informed by the National Bureau of Statistics, in particular, investments in long-term intangible assets in January-December 2023 amounted to 1 billion 099.6 million lei and increased by 26.9% compared to the same period of the previous year. At the same time, investments in long-term tangible assets decreased by 1.7% - to 31 billion 147.2 million lei (96.6% of the total). According to the NBS, at the end of 2023, investments in machinery and equipment amounted to 9 billion 663.6 million lei (+5.5% by 2022). Investments in the construction of residential buildings in 2023 amounted to 3 billion 600.9 million lei (-15.9%), in non-residential buildings (buildings and structures) - 5 billion 179.8 million lei (-2.7%), in engineering structures - 7 billion 030.2 million lei (-9%), in vehicles - 3 billion 592.2 million lei (+8.2%), in other tangible assets - 2 billion 080.5 million lei (+7.2%).
