
Moldova will sign an agreement with the European Commission on the implementation of the "EU4Moldova: Integration and Stability" program, under which Moldova will receive assistance worth 31 million euros.
At a meeting held on Wednesday, the Cabinet endorsed the approval of a financing agreement between the Moldovan government and the European Commission on the implementation of the "EU4Moldova: Integration and Stability" program. This program will support stability, recovery and priority reforms in Moldova, in line with the Association Agenda 2021-2027 and Moldova's EU accession process. At the same time, 10 million euros out of the total assistance amount of 31 million euros are earmarked for improving the national capacities in terms of security threats and migration issues. Another 10 million euros are earmarked for the agricultural sector, while 11 million euros will be used in the context of reforms in the management of public finances, justice, competition, labor, energy efficiency, etc. Assistance will be provided through various instruments: consultancy, analysis, training, equipment, infrastructure, expertise and grants.
