In 2024, the State Tax Service will check the tax compliance of economic agents in five sectors of the economy.
According to the State Tax Service (STS), in 2024 the voluntary tax compliance program includes wholesale and retail trade in goods, products and materials, manufacturing industry, dental services, construction industry, transport and warehousing services. These industries are identified based on the results of risk analysis and assessment of revenues from taxes and fees in relation to GDP, as well as the results of tax administration actions applied in 2022-2023. In addition, the STS will monitor foreign exchange offices, real estate rental transactions and income received by individuals from gambling, as well as services provided to non-resident companies. The monitoring regime involves questioning taxpayers, making tax visits, conducting tax control or approving a tax post, depending on the identified risks for each entity individually. At the same time, during the year the STS plans to form a list of individuals to whom voluntary compliance measures will also be applied. To identify such individuals, the STS will assess income, including by indirect methods. // 09.01.2024 - InfoMarket
