
Applications for post-investment financing and advance payments can be submitted until November 16.
During a briefing on Monday, Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry Vladimir Bolea recalled that applications for these categories of subsidies are still being accepted. Thus, micro and small producers, legal entities or individuals (other than farmers) engaged in activities in rural areas or agricultural activities, administrative-territorial units, research and innovation organizations, as well as educational institutions with an agro-industrial profile can apply for the following subsidy measures: improvement and development of rural economic infrastructure; development of agricultural infrastructure; diversification of rural economic activities; stimulating production on protected lands; planting new plantations of fruit, aromatic, medicinal and spicy bushes; modernization of livestock farms; knowledge transfer, innovation and learning. Under this form of subsidy, the annual limit per applicant is up to 4 million lei, and young farmers, women farmers and migrants or farm farmers returning to Moldova will receive subsidies increased by 10-15%. At the same time, applications for post-investment financing are accepted until November 16. This type of subsidy is offered for the following measures/sub-measures: investments in production on protected areas, in irrigation systems and equipment, in the production of crop and livestock products, as well as in the development of viticulture, in the use of soil cultivation technologies, infrastructure development, etc. The annual limit of post-investment subsidies for farmers from the livestock sector will be up to 10 million lei, for milk producers - up to 12.5 million lei, for groups of agricultural producers, entrepreneurial cooperatives or associations of water users for irrigation - up to 15 million lei, for other beneficiaries - up to 7 million lei per year. Women farmers, migrants returning to Moldova and young farmers will be able to receive increased post-investment subsidies by 10% and 20% if they use the funds received to purchase machinery and equipment manufactured in Moldova. AIPA General Director Diana Coșalîc clarified that applications for subsidies can be submitted to any of the agency’s 10 territorial divisions. Herewith, to simplify procedures for investments up to 100 thousand lei, the Ministry of Agriculture approved a simplified model of an investment project (a document mandatory for all projects starting from 2023). Meanwhile, farmers who do not have time to obtain all the necessary documents may request additional time to obtain supporting documents. It is worth noting that so far AIPA has received 581 applications for post-investment financing and 8 applications for advance payments, and the total declared amount is 13.6 million lei. // 30.10.2023 – InfoMarket.
