The Ministry of Finance announced this, noting that this will be provided for by Amendment No. 2 to the Financing Agreement between the Government of Moldova and the European Commission in relation to the Contract on State Consolidation and Sustainability of Moldova, signed in Brussels on December 15, 2021. At a meeting on Tuesday, the Cabinet of Ministers of Moldova approved the start of negotiations and signing amendment No. 2 to this agreement. The amendment provides for additional grant funding of 105 million euros, thus increasing the budget of the support program to 240 million euros, which will be allocated in two additional parts until the end of 2023.
