The results of the audit of the historical debt of "Moldovagaz" to "Gazprom" will be presented next week.
This was announced by government spokesman Daniel Voda after a government meeting on Wednesday. He noted that the Ministry of Energy will present the results of the audit at a press conference. All documents related to the audit and proposals for resolving the settlement of historical debts will also be made public. As InfoMarket agency reported earlier, an independent audit of the historical debt of Moldovagaz to Gazprom and Factoring-Finance for natural gas supplied to consumers on the right bank of the Dniester was carried out by the Norwegian Wikborg Rein Advokatfirma AS and the British Forensic Risk Alliance & Co. External auditors had to not only establish the exact amount of historical debt, but also to find out the factors of its formation. Earlier, the official representative of Gazprom, Sergey Kupriyanov, stated that the historical debt of Moldovagaz to the Gazprom group was $433 million, and taking into account the delay in payments, the total amount of debt reaches $709 million.
