The Ministry of Agriculture reminded farmers about some mandatory conditions for receiving state subsidies.
The Ministry reminded that the Agency for Intervention and Payments in Agriculture (AIPA) accepts applications from farmers for almost all categories of subsidies and assistance. At the same time, it is specified that, in order to receive anti-crisis aid and diesel fuel from external humanitarian aid, farmers must justify the right of ownership or the right to use agricultural land, which suffered from natural disasters. The agency noted that this criterion was introduced to fulfill the decision of the Court of Accounts, as well as taking into account European practice in this area. "Submission of proof of ownership/use or possession of land with appropriate and reliable documents is determined by the need to eliminate the risk of damage to the state budget and double granting of subsidies - to owners and users of land," the ministry said. It is emphasized that the Ministry of Agriculture and AIPA act in the interests of all farmers, based on the principles of transparency and fairness in the distribution of subsidies among beneficiaries. The Ministry of Agriculture reported that as of August 29, AIPA received almost 3.3 thousand applications for subsidies, 87% of them (2.8 thousand) - for reimbursement of excise duty on diesel fuel. There were also applications for subsidizing insurance premiums (147 applications), additional subsidies (125), anti-crisis aid (75), direct payments per kilogram of production (45), direct payments for livestock (25), for the distribution of diesel fuel from external humanitarian aid (6). It is worth noting that applications for advance and post-investment payments will also be accepted from September 18 to November 16.
