The head of the MFAEI, Nicu Popescu, handed over in Brussels a document titled "Moldova's Contribution to the EU Enlargement Report 2023".
It was handed over to Gert-Jan Koopman, director general of the EU Directorate General for Neighborhood and Enlargement. "This is a historic moment and the first event of its kind for our country, in which hundreds of employees of state institutions presented the progress and reforms of the past year. There was a fruitful discussion about Moldova's significant progress in implementing the 9 recommendations of the European Commission. On this occasion, we reiterated our commitment to continue the reform agenda in order to start accession negotiations as soon as possible," Nicu Popescu said after the meeting. He also said the organization of a summit of the European Political Community is a unique opportunity for Moldova to express its European aspirations and to strengthen relations with our partners. Nicu Popescu is on a working visit to Brussels from April 20 to 22. // 21.04.2023 – InfoMarket
