
More than 3.6 billion lei will be required for the implementation of the three-year action plan of the National Program for the Promotion of Entrepreneurship and Competitiveness until 2027.
The Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization is holding public consultations on the program for 2023-2027, as well as on the action plan for its implementation in 2023-2025. The program is aimed at creating conditions for increasing the competitiveness of enterprises at the local and international levels, as well as diversifying the support tools necessary for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The program contains 2 general goals, divided into 5 specific tasks. In particular, it is planned to expand the access of SMEs to financing, ensure the exchange of technologies, implement measures to support employment and create equal business opportunities for all categories of the population. Some of the measures relate to digital transformation and the introduction of innovations in business, the implementation of financial instruments and programs, capacity building in priority areas such as information technology and communications, agriculture, processing industry, biomedicine, etc. In the first three years of the program, it is planned to simplify procedures for voluntary liquidation of businesses, approve a bill on a business ombudsman, introduce a simplified tax regime for micro-enterprises, introduce tools to detect and respond to anti-competitive actions in the market, expand the process of digitizing services provided to businesses through the GEAP system, simplify the sanitary requirements for SMEs that process agricultural products, some rural tourism facilities, etc. The implementation of financial support programs for businesses will also continue. The largest program will be FACEM - in 2023-2023 for its implementation will be allocated 2.8 billion lei.
