Grants of up to 500 thousand lei each were approved for 14 projects under the PARE 1+2 program.

The Organization for Entrepreneurship Development (ODA) has signed appropriate contracts with the heads of companies established by migrant workers or their relatives of the first category. Twelve projects each received grants of up to 250 thousand lei on a 1+1 basis and two other projects, which previously received grants under PARE 1+1, received grants of up to 500 thousand lei on a 1+2 basis. In 2022, 1,236 projects received grants under the PARE program for a total amount of about 30 million lei. Let us remind that PARE 1+2 is for migrant workers and their first degree relatives, who have successfully implemented investment projects under PARE 1+1 program and intend to expand their economic activity by increasing production capacity, diversifying their products and entering new markets. Non-reimbursable financing will be provided for investment projects aimed at expanding company's activity, based on "1+2" rule, i.e. 1 MDL invested from the beneficiary's own contribution will be complemented by 2 lei from the program resources. The amount of grant funding will be up to 500 thousand lei. The beneficiary's own contribution to the project must be at least 30% of the total project budget. Potential beneficiaries of this program can be companies that received assistance under the PARE 1+1 program (for each MDL invested, the beneficiaries migrant workers or their relatives receive 1 MDL in state assistance, and the maximum grant is limited to 250 thousand lei), are operating on the market for at least 2 years and have maintained at least 5 jobs. Beneficiaries must have an unchanged set of founders, who own at least 75% of shares in the enterprise and demonstrate positive dynamics of financial and economic development. The funds provided under the "1+2" rule may cover only certain expenses: for long-term tangible and intangible assets, including acquisition of standards, quality certificates, franchises, software applications within the limits established by the Operational Guidelines, as well as for business development services (consultancy and training in the field of the activities performed, marketing and advertising within the limits established by the Operational Guidelines). // 03.01.2023 - InfoMarket.
