The Parliament of Moldova approved the introduction in the country of a new version of the Automated Commodity Description and Coding System.
In particular, this is envisaged by amendments to the Law on approval of the Combined Commodity Nomenclature, which the deputies adopted in the first reading. The changes proposed to the Combined Commodity Nomenclature do not concern customs tariffs, but only tariff codes. Among the main items that will change are some categories of fish, oils, some chemical products (coronavirus vaccines), some types of wood, fiberglass, machinery and appliances, electrical equipment and parts, flying objects, art, collectibles, antiques, etc. It is planned that the new version of the Automated Commodity Description and Coding System, approved by the World Customs Organization in 1983, will come into force in Moldova in 2023. The system is used in more than 200 countries and is an indispensable tool for foreign trade of any state.//22.09.2022 — InfoMarket.
