
New tariffs for natural gas supplied by Moldovagaz took effect on August 12.
The relevant decision of the National Energy Regulatory Agency on approval of regulated prices for the natural gas supplied by Moldovagaz, approved on August 4, has been published in Monitorul Oficial (the Official Journal of Moldova) and took effect on August 12. According to the document, the regulated price of natural gas at low-pressure outlets (for residential consumers) was increased by 23.5% - from 17.244 lei to 21.296 lei per 1,000 cubic meters (excluding VAT). Thus, including VAT (8%), the price per cubic meter of gas for residential consumers rose starting August 12 from 18.6 to 23 lei. At the same time, the price for natural gas at the outlets of medium-pressure gas distribution networks increased by 25.7% - from 15.633 to 19.654 lei per 1,000 cubic meters. The regulated prices at the gas outlets of medium-pressure networks went up by 25.7% - from 15.633 lei to 19.654 lei per 1,000 cubic meters (excluding VAT), and high pressure outlets - by 26.1% - from 15.315 lei to 19.317 lei per 1,000 cubic meters. The regulated prices at the input points of natural gas transmission networks grew by 26.8% - from 14.834 lei to 18.819 lei, and at the exit points of transmission networks - by 26.6% - from 15.063 lei to 19.066 lei per 1,000 cubic meters. It is worth noting that this is the second increase in natural gas tariffs for consumers this summer - from June 1, the tariffs rose by 22-26%, depending on the category of consumers. // 12.08.2022 - InfoMarket
