This was reported by the National Bureau of Statistics, noting that in February last year, monthly inflation was 0.38%, annual inflation (for the last 12 months) was then 0.62%, and in January-February 2021 - 0.84 %. According to the NBS, consumer prices in February 2022 increased by an average of 2.07% compared to the previous month, against the backdrop of rising prices for food products - by 2.81%, for non-food products - by 2.17% , as well as an increase in tariffs for services provided to the population by 0.88%. According to official statistics, in particular, in February 2022, compared to the previous month, prices for the following food products increased: rye flour bread - by 10.2%, vegetables - by 10% (including tomatoes - by 23%, cucumbers - by 13.8%, cabbage - by 10%, root crops - by 6.1%, garlic - by 3.5%), potatoes - by 5.1%, bread made from wheat flour - by 4.2%, corn and wheat flour - by 3.2% and 2.6%, respectively, fresh fruits - by 2.9% (in particular, fresh grapes - by 13.7%, stone fruits - by 4.7%, exotic fruits - by 2%), milk and dairy products - by 2.2%, cottage cheese - by 2.3%, cheese - by 2.2%, semi-skimmed milk and whole milk - by 1.7% and 1 2%, respectively), meat, semi-finished meat and canned food - by 1.6% (including beef - by 4.2%, poultry meat - by 2%, pork - by 1.3%). If we talk about non-food products, in February 2022, compared to the previous month, the prices increased more significantly: fuel - by 8.8% (including diesel fuel - by 9.9%, gasoline - by 8.5%), coal - by 6.1%, plants and flowers - by 5.4%, firewood - by 3.2%, furniture - by 2.7%, medicines and materials for the maintenance and repair of housing - by 1.7%, large household appliances - by 1.6%.
