In general, in January-December 2021, compared to the same period in 2020, production volumes in the mining industry increased by 11.9%, and in the processing industry - increased by 11.4%. According to the NBS, food industry enterprises in 2021, compared to 2020, increased their overall production volumes by 8.9%. The production of beverages increased by 10.6%, textile production - by 11%, clothing - by 12.2%. Tanning and leather finishing section; production of suitcases, bags, harness and saddlery; dressing and dyeing of fur increased by 16.8%, and in the section of wood processing and production of wood and cork products, except for furniture; production of products from straw and other plant materials for weaving - 42.8%. The production of paper and paper products increased by 25.4%, while the production of chemicals and chemical products decreased by 11.2%. The output of pharmaceutical products and pharmaceuticals increased by 12.2%, rubber and plastic products - an increase of 14.3%. In the metallurgical industry, production increased by 41.1%. The output of metal structures and products, except for machinery, equipment and installations, increased by 17.1%, and in the section "production of computers, electronic and optical products" the indicator increased by 5.5%. The production of electrical equipment grew by 3%, machinery and equipment - by 18.7%, and cars, trailers and semi-trailers - decreased by 23.4%. Furniture output increased by 74.4%. In the repair, maintenance and installation of machinery and equipment section, the growth amounted to 58.8%. Production and supply of electrical and thermal energy, gas, hot water increased by 16.1%.
