As part of our global recovery, we want to better connect the world to better move forward. The European model involves investing in both hard and soft infrastructure, sustainable investments in digital technologies, climate and energy, transport, healthcare, education and research, and an enabling environment that guarantees a level playing field. We will support wise investments in quality infrastructure, respecting the highest social and environmental standards, in line with EU democratic values and international norms and standards. The Global Gateway strategies are an example of how Europe can build stronger links with the world, ”said European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. Global Gateway projects will be designed and implemented through Team Europe Initiatives. EU institutions, member states and European financial institutions will work together with European enterprises, as well as with governments, civil society and the private sector in partner countries. // 02.12.2021 — InfoMarket
