The National Bureau of Statistics reported this, noting that a deflation of 0.26% was registered in September last year. In January-September 2020, 0.21% deflation was recorded and the annual inflation in September last year was 2.32%. As noted by the NBM, consumer prices in September 2021 increased by an average of 1.68%, compared to the previous month, against the background of an increase in prices for food products - by 2.68%, for non-food products - by 1.54%, as well as an increase in tariffs for services provided to the population by 0.46%. According to official statistics, in particular, in September 2021, compared to the previous month, the following food products rose in price: vegetables - by 19.6% (in particular, cucumbers - by 55.4%, tomatoes - by 45.3% , cabbage - by 26.9%, fresh mushrooms - by 16.5%, bell peppers, eggplants, zucchini - by 8.7%, garlic - by 3.1%), chicken eggs - by 4%, cereals - by 2.5%, mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar and other spices - 2.3%, butter - 2%, milk and dairy products - 1.7% (in particular: fresh semi-fat and whole milk - by 2%, 5% and 1.5%, respectively, cottage cheese - by 2.2%, sour cream and cream - by 1.9%), wheat flour bread - by 1.6%, meat, semi-finished meat products and canned food - by 1.5% (in particular: pork - by 3.9%, poultry - by 1.6%, beef - by 1.5%, semi-finished products and finished meat products - by 1.1%), natural bee honey - by 1.3%. At the same time, in the reporting period, prices fell as follows: root crops - by 11%, dry onions - by 6.7%, fresh fruits - by 3.7% (in particular: grapes - by 13.2%, watermelons and melons - by 10.8%, citrus fruits - 4.3%, exotic fruits - 2.5%), vegetable oil - 1.9%. As far as non-food products are concerned, then in September 2021, compared to the previous month, prices increased as follows: carpets and other floor coverings - by 8.5%, LPG in cylinders - by 8.3%, coal - by 6.1 %, furniture and household appliances - by 3.9%, gasoline - by 3.1%, firewood - by 2.7%, diesel fuel - by 2.4%, clothing and large household appliances - by 1.5%, materials for repairs - by 1.1%. Among the services provided to the population, in September 2021, compared to the previous month, there was registered an increase in prices for dental services - by 8.8%, fees for living in student dormitories - by 8.6%, passenger air transport services - by 2.5%, catering services - by 1%. // 11.10.2021 - InfoMarket
