Revenues from privatization in Moldova amounted to 91.1 million lei in the first half of 2021 (13% of the approved plan for the current year).
According to the Public Property Agency, in the first half of 2021, two rounds of privatization were organized on the Stock Exchange, one “Dutch auction” and one “English auction”, during which 36 state property objects were put up for sale (most of them were featured for the second time), including 15 blocks of shares of joint-stock companies on the Stock Exchange, 18 objects within the “English auction” and 3 objects within the “Dutch action.” So, as a result of the auction at the Stock Exchange in April 2021, the state block of shares of Aqua-Prut was sold for 4.76 million lei, and during the auction on June 30, 3 property complexes and 1 real estate object were sold in Chisinau municipality at a total price of 52.28 million lei. At the same time, in January-June 2021, the Public Property Agency signed contracts on the privatization of 4 state property objects: the Children's Health Camp "Avtodorozhnik" (Автодорожник), the tourist base "Moldova", the Lux recreation center and a land plot for construction in the town of Codru (Chisinau municipality) with an area of 5.1848 hectares - these objects were sold as part of an organized round of privatization in December 2020. In total, in the first half of 2021, as a result of the privatization of state property, the budget received 91.1 million lei: 81.33 million lei - from the sale of objects subject to privatization (single property complexes, real estate, real estate complexes) and 9.8 million lei - the income from the sale and lease / lending of land owned by the state.
