Earlier it was reported that this figure was 27 billion 113.1 lei last year, having decreased by 2.6% compared to the previous year. According to the National Bureau of Statistics, based on updated data, in particular, investments in long-term intangible assets in January-December 2020 amounted to 587 million lei and decreased by 38.6%, compared to the same period of the previous year (earlier it was reported that they amounted to 519.5 million lei; -39.9%). At the same time, investments in long-term tangible assets decreased by 2% - to 29 billion 502.6 million lei (earlier it was reported that they amounted to 26 billion 593.6 million lei; -1.4%). According to the updated NBS data, in 2020, investments in machinery and equipment amounted to 8 billion 025.1 million lei (previously reported - 7 billion 163.8 million lei), down 8.5% (previously reported -11.4 %) relative to 2019. Investments in non-residential buildings (buildings and structures) amounted to 5 billion 011 million lei last year (previously reported - 4 billion 510.1 million lei), down 16.7% (previously reported - 13.5% against 2019). Investments in the construction of residential buildings amounted to 4 billion 396.7 million lei (previously reported - 3 billion 741.5 million lei), which is 3.4% less than in the previous year (previously reported - 5.1% against 2019). According to the updated NBS data, investments in engineering structures amounted to 6 billion 819.2 million lei (+ 13.7%), investments in vehicles - 3 billion 271.9 million lei (+ 8.7%), and investments in other material assets - 1 billion 978.7 million lei (+ 7.5%).
