According to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), the share of EU countries in the total volume of Moldovan exports for the specified period increased from 63.06% to 65.21% (the record maximum was 69.59% earlier). The largest volumes of products from Moldova were purchased by the following EU countries: Romania, Germany, Italy, Poland and the Czech Republic. In particular, for the first 5 months of 2021, relative to the same period of the previous year, deliveries of Moldovan products to Romania increased by 27.4% - to $307.5 million, to Germany - increased by 35.5% - to $114.8 million, to Italy - decreased by 7.6% - to $77.3 million, to Poland - increased by 6.5% - to $43.2 million, to the Czech Republic - increased by 3.9% - to $34.03 million. Export of domestic goods to Spain decreased by 11.8% - to $17.4 million, to Holland - increased by 11.7% - to $16.7 million, to Hungary - increased 2.6 times - to $16.2 million, to Portugal - increased 1.8 times - to $16.1 million, and to France - decreased by 9.8% - to $14.64 million.
