
Moldova Trade Forum 2021 to be attended by more than 500 entrepreneurs from 34 world countries.
The international online forum is organized by UNDP with the financial support of Sweden under the “Advanced Cross-River Capacities for Trade” (AdTrade) Project and will take place on April 28 to 30. Currently, most of the participants are expected from Moldova, Turkey, Romania, Belarus, Croatia, Ukraine, Morocco, etc. Among them there are representatives of companies that operate in the automotive industry, creative industry, ICT industry, clothing and footwear production, in the tourism industry, etc. During the event, national and international experts will present solutions to overcome the negative consequences of the pandemic crisis, discuss DCFTA opportunities in the pandemic and benefits of e-commerce and digital transformation of trade relations. The experts will present solutions for integrating producers of agri-food products and textiles into global value chains, as well as the largest retail trends in 2021. Swedish economist and writer Kjell Anders Nordström, English futurist economist Bernard Marr), WTO Representative Kathryn Lundquist and others will be speakers at the event. Moldova Trade Forum 2021 will also become a platform for establishing partnerships between Moldovan manufacturers and trade networks / distributors in the EU; for this, B2B sessions will be organized. At the same time, a marketplace has already been organized on the electronic platform of the forum, where participants present their goods and services (more than 460 offers). Representatives of the public and private sectors, international donors, scientific community, companies and business associations are invited to dialogue within the forum.
