As InfoMarket was informed in the Ministry of Finance, at the same time, the expenditures of the state budget of Moldova in the first 3 months of this year amounted to 11 billion 827.7 million lei, having increased by 1 billion 575.8 million lei in comparison with the same period of the previous year ( + 15.4%). As a result, the deficit of the state budget of Moldova in January-March 2021 amounted to 1 billion 298.6 million lei against 926 million lei a year earlier. According to the Ministry of Finance, in general, in the structure of income, receipts from taxes and duties in the first 3 months of this year amounted to 9 billion 916.3 million lei (a year earlier - 8 billion 872 million), receipts from grants - 190.1 million lei (a year earlier - 54.9 million lei). According to the Ministry of Finance, the customs service traditionally brought the largest amounts of revenue to the treasury. In particular, the income provided by the CS in January-March 2021 amounted to 5 billion 030.4 million lei, an increase of 685.1 million lei (+ 15.8%), compared to the same period in 2020. Herewith, the incomes administered by the State Tax Service in the first 3 months of this year amounted to 5 billion 783.2 million lei, which is 413.5 million lei (7.7%) more than in the same period of the previous year. Income from projects financed from external sources in January-March 2021 amounted to 130.5 million lei against 56.5 million lei in the same period a year earlier, thus increasing by 2.3 times. Other revenues amounted to 284.3 million lei, which is higher than the indicators of the same period of the previous year by 41.4 million lei (+ 17%). Refund by the Ministry of Finance of VAT and excise taxes in the first 3 months 2021 amounted to 699.3 million lei, which is 10.8 million lei (1.6%) more than in the same period a year earlier.// 26.04.2021 — InfoMarket
