The European Commission will support Moldova's economic recovery plan in the context of the new Multi-Year Indicative Program for 2021-2027.

According to the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure, European officials announced this within the framework of the "EU Debate Cafe" event entitled "Investment and Economic Recovery Plan of Moldova: Needs, Priorities, Sources", which considered the current state of the economy of our country, the most Affected by the pandemic crisis, medium-term intervention projections and priorities that support economic recovery. Secretary General of the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure Lilia Palii spoke about a set of measures to support the business environment in a pandemic, about macroeconomic forecast and a long-term vision of development in the context of elaboration of a new strategy, as well as the digital economy. In this context, the following goals were identified: diversification of the economic opportunities of small and medium-sized enterprises; development of innovative and competitive firms; improving labor safety and remuneration; economic growth with low environmental impact; improving utilities; institutional strengthening; and others. Recall that the work on the development of the Multi-Year Indicative Plan began on February 1.
