This was reported by the State Tax Service, noting that tax revenues to the state budget for 8 months of 2025 amounted to about 21.4 billion lei, exceeding the figures for the same period of the previous year by 2.7 billion lei (+14.4%). At the same time, the budgets of administrative-territorial units in January-August 2025 received more than 6.1 billion lei in taxes, which is 857.7 million lei (16.3%) more than for the same period of 2024. The state social insurance budget for 8 months of 2025, taxes were collected in the amount of over 18.7 billion lei, which is 2.1 billion lei (12.8%) more than in the same period a year earlier.
