
The State Tax Service's contributions to Moldova's national public budget in January-June 2025 amounted to 39.3 billion lei, exceeding the figures for the same period in 2024 by 13.2% (+4.6 billion)
The State Tax Service reported this, noting that tax revenues to the state budget for the first six months of 2025 exceeded 16.2 billion lei, which is 1.8 billion lei (+12.6%) higher than in the same period of the previous year. At the same time, in January-June 2025, about 4.5 billion lei in taxes were received by the budgets of administrative-territorial units, which is 569 million lei (14.7%) more than in the same period of 2024. In the first six months of 2025, taxes totaling over 13.9 billion lei were collected for the state social insurance budget, which is 1.6 billion lei (13.1%) more than in the same period a year earlier. The State Tax Service's accumulated contributions to the mandatory health insurance funds in January-June 2025 amounted to about 4.7 billion lei, up by 600.2 million lei (+14.7%) compared to the same period of the previous year. // 02.07.2025 – InfoMarket.
