
The Ministry of Finance of Moldova has started developing a tax policy for 2026 - Victoria Belous
The head of the financial department announced this during a meeting with business representatives during a visit to the Anenii Noi district, calling on all entrepreneurs to actively engage in this process. Victoria Belous also announced plans to amend the Tax Code this year, in particular, the chapters on VAT and excise taxes. She spoke about the organization of an information session at the Ministry of Finance on March 10, dedicated to such a component as excise tax. In the second half of the year, the main focus will be on VAT. The participants in the discussions spoke about the problems and obstacles they face in entrepreneurial activity. Victoria Belous gave detailed explanations and expressed gratitude for the contribution of the business environment to the national budget. At the same time, she emphasized the high level of compliance by taxpayers, emphasizing that this priority will remain relevant in 2025. During discussions with local authorities, important topics were touched upon, including local taxes, real estate valuation, budget planning, development of public resources, the level of execution of capital and investment expenditures, and the distribution of income tax.
