The State Tax Service informs taxpayers of the obligation to switch the operating hours of cash registers to winter time by November 20
As reported by the State Tax Service, in accordance with the Regulation on the use of cash registers when making cash payments and (or) payments using other means of payment, taxpayers are required to use cash register equipment in good working order. One of the requirements for the serviceability of cash register equipment with fiscal memory is the printing of the current calendar date and time on documents with a deviation of no more than 15 minutes from real time (except for a deviation of 1 hour during the transition from summer to winter time and vice versa, but not later than November 20/April of the current year). As noted by the State Tax Service, given that Moldova will switch to winter time on October 27, it is necessary to comply with the requirements of the law by switching the time on cash register equipment to winter time before November 20, otherwise it will be considered faulty. // 22.10.2024 — InfoMarket.
