In 2021, 942 organizations may become beneficiaries of the 2% law, which is almost 12% more than in 2020.
The data of organizations included in the list of beneficiaries of the percentage contribution in 2021 are published on the website of the Public Services Agency: http://asp.gov.md/sites/default/files/main-page/lista_BDP.pdf. Of the total number of organizations, 818 (87%) are public associations, foundations and private institutions (non-profit organizations). Their number in 2021 increased by 11.7% compared to 2020. The remaining 124 organizations (13%) are religious cults and their constituent parts (religious formations). Their number increased by 10.7% compared to approved organizations last year. All organizations were selected on the basis of the submitted applications and in accordance with the selection criteria: they have been working for at least 1 year, they have no debts to the state and they are socially important for society.
