An agreement on this was reached during a meeting between Moldovan Prime Minister Vasile Tofan and Energy Minister Dorin Junghietu with Ukrainian Energy Minister Denys Shmyhal. The officials discussed primarily issues related to managing energy and hydrological crises. One of the main topics was the hydrological situation on the Nistru River. Although the situation in the upper reaches of the river remains challenging, the Ukrainian side agreed to increase the volume of water released by the Novodnestrovsk Hydroelectric Complex by approximately 20% compared to the previous period. In addition, officials agreed to maintain constant contact to make joint decisions on managing energy and hydrological crises. // 15.10.2026 — InfoMarket
