As previously reported, Moldova will participate for the first time in the China International Import Expo (CIIE 2026), which will take place November 5–10 in Shanghai. The Investment Agency invites Moldovan companies interested in entering the Chinese market to express their interest in participating in the exhibition at Moldova's booth at CIIE 2026. The registration deadline has been extended from August 14 to August 21. The China International Import Expo is one of the most important international platforms dedicated to imports and the entry of foreign companies into the Chinese market. The event brings together government agencies, importers, distributors, buyers, investors, retail chains, and international companies from many countries and regions. Participation in Moldova's national pavilion at this expo will provide selected companies with the opportunity to promote their products and services in the Chinese market; establish contacts with importers, distributors, and potential business partners; take part in business meetings and networking events; analyze the needs and trends of the Chinese market; gauge interest in their products; and capitalize on the international exposure offered by a global trade show. Companies whose products or services have export potential and who wish to explore commercial opportunities in one of the world's largest consumer markets are encouraged to register to participate by August 21.
