Specifically, on September 8–9, a mission from the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) is taking place in Chișinău to assess corporate governance at Moldova's state-owned enterprises, with the participation of representatives from the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization. During the mission, OECD experts held working discussions with representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization, other government agencies, as well as representatives of enterprises not subject to privatization, on issues related to corporate governance structures, management practices at state-owned enterprises, the role of governing bodies, and oversight and accountability mechanisms. The assessment identifies key opportunities for improving corporate governance structures and practices and will serve as the basis for recommendations on developing this area. The mission is being conducted in accordance with the 2024–2027 Action Plan for Cooperation between the Government of Moldova and the OECD, which provides for an assessment of corporate governance in state-owned enterprises. // 09.09.2026 — InfoMarket
