The National Bank of Moldova is drafting rules for the issuance of e-money tokens

The National Bank of Moldova has begun drafting regulations that will, for the first time, set out in detail the rules for issuing e-money tokens and the requirements for their issuers. The document is expected to address the classification of cryptoassets, disclosure requirements, and supervisory mechanisms, and will form part of a broader set of regulations for the cryptoasset market.
