The government did not support the creation of a state-owned Bank for Investment and Modernization of Moldova
The government has rejected the opposition's proposal to establish a new state-owned bank for investment and modernization. The Cabinet believes that the proposed functions are already partially carried out by existing mechanisms, and that the proposal itself does not demonstrate that the stated objectives cannot be achieved without a separate institution.
