Of this total, 25.93% came from local renewable sources, 69.21% came from bilateral import contracts, 3.90% from Romania's "day-ahead" market via OPCOM and BRM, and 0.96% from combined heat and power plants. At the same time, as the company emphasizes, despite the fact that the volumes needed to cover consumption have been determined and reallocated as of today, the regional situation remains challenging, and energy availability on external markets is limited. Under these conditions, electricity prices have risen significantly. The increase in procurement costs, especially during peak hours, will inevitably lead to higher rates for consumers. "Therefore, we urge citizens to continue using electricity wisely, especially between 6:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m., to avoid wasting it and, whenever possible, to postpone the use of energy-intensive appliances to other times of the day.
