Moldova will expand tax deductions for medical expenses starting in 2027

Starting in 2027, Moldova will change the rules for claiming the tax deduction for medical expenses: citizens will be allowed to include services paid for from multiple providers while maintaining the overall limit. The Ministry of Finance notes that this change will simplify the process of claiming the deduction, but supporting documentation and accurate reporting of expenses on tax returns will still be required.
