Moldova plans to sharply reduce energy imports and increase the share of renewable energy
Moldova has set a long-term course toward drastically reducing its dependence on energy imports and rapidly increasing the share of renewable sources in its energy mix. The authorities are also focusing on developing storage infrastructure, expanding the electricity market, and attracting private investment to support the electrification of the economy and enhance its resilience.
