In her opening remarks at the forum, Natalia Bejan, head of the Investment Agency, noted that approximately 650 participants had confirmed their in-person attendance, and that delegations had arrived from 50 countries around the world. She noted that Moldova is constantly changing, and the forum's goal is to show investors and potential investors how to develop and expand their businesses in the country. According to her, this year's Moldova Business Week will focus on three main areas: Moldova's integration into the European economic space, the presentation of sector-specific investment profiles, and the export of services. "European integration is already changing our lives. We understand that two-thirds of Moldova's exports go to the EU and more than 85% of the capital flowing into Moldova comes from EU countries. We want our offerings to stand out. We also want the world to recognize Moldova not only as an exporter of agricultural products but also as an exporter of the services and expertise we offer today. Moldova has traditionally been known as an agricultural country, but we are striving to change this paradigm and are ready to export more services than goods," stated Natalia Bejan. Over the course of five days, Moldova Business Week will feature more than 30 events: site visits to businesses, company presentations, thematic forums, industry-specific roundtables, B2B meetings, and regional trips focusing on specific opportunities for investment and partnership.
