The use of cashless payments continues to grow rapidly in Moldova: according to data from the National Bank, both the number of card transactions and their total volume have increased significantly in recent years. The report on the development of financial infrastructure also notes changes in the structure of payments, growth in transactions via digital apps, and the strengthening of the role of certain market players.
