According to the National Office for Regional and Local Development, the modernization of the educational institutions was carried out as part of the "European Village-II" National Program. A total of 115.52 million lei was allocated for these purposes, specifically: approximately 60.6 million lei for the renovation of 37 kindergartens, 44.27 million lei for 25 high schools, 2 lyceums—5.15 million lei, and 2 art schools—5.53 million lei. The beneficiaries included 7,900 children and more than 1,660 employees. In the future, there are plans to modernize another 28 institutions: 16 kindergartens, 9 middle schools, 2 high schools, and 1 arts school.
