The National Road Administration announced this, noting that it had conducted public consultations on this project. The project involves the rehabilitation of Section 4 of the M1 Leuşeni–Chişinău–Dubasari national highway, located in the Ialoveni District. The target section, 23.71 km long, begins at the entrance to the village of Capriana and ends near the intersection with the M2 national highway, on the stretch between km 61+750 and km 85+460. During the meeting, the technical solutions proposed for the modernization and expansion of the road section were presented and analyzed, including measures to ensure road safety, as well as the environmental and social aspects envisaged in the project. The purpose of the consultations was to ensure transparency in the design process, inform the public, and provide an opportunity for government agencies, institutions, and other interested parties to submit remarks, comments, and suggestions regarding the proposed solutions. The reconstruction of this section is included in the 5th Road Rehabilitation Project in Moldova (Proiectul de Reabilitare a Drumurilor în Moldova V), financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The investment is aimed at improving a number of priority sections of the national road network that are part of the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T). The National Road Administration emphasized the importance of involving government agencies and local communities in the process of preparing road infrastructure projects in order to identify sustainable technical solutions tailored to the needs of mobility, road safety, and the development of the national road network. // 03.11.2026 — InfoMarket.
