The E-Governance Agency, in collaboration with the Information Technology and Cybersecurity Service and the Cybersecurity Agency, continues to take measures to protect government information systems, restore e-services, and assess the impact of the cyberattack. To date, 61 e-services available through the evo.gov.md portal have been fully restored, and access to the remaining 21 services provided by various agencies will be restored in phases as security checks are completed. At the same time, the e-Governance Agency reported that the cyber threat persists: experts continue to detect attempted attacks on the government's digital infrastructure aimed at identifying vulnerabilities and disrupting electronic services. The audits conducted so far have not revealed any new instances of unauthorized data extraction from systems under the agency's jurisdiction. At the same time, experts are analyzing previously extracted data, categorizing the affected information, and identifying the group of citizens who may have been impacted by the incident. To this end, data lists are being compiled and verified to eliminate duplicates and discrepancies. The agency is also developing a mechanism for individually notifying affected citizens. The agency emphasized that preliminary results will not be made public until they are confirmed, as this could lead to the spread of inaccurate information. As of October 30, the checks conducted have not revealed any changes or distortions to citizens' personal data in government registries as a result of the cyberattack. However, a final assessment of the incident's consequences requires additional technical checks and confirmation of the results by several relevant agencies.// 30.10.2026 — InfoMarket.
