According to CS, the Single Customs Window provides for the integration of customs information systems with those of the agencies responsible for other formalities, which will enable the electronic verification of data required for customs operations. This is expected to simplify customs procedures, reduce the administrative burden on economic operators, and improve the effectiveness of controls. The development of the national solution is being carried out with EU support as part of the "Moldova este Europa" program, with the participation of Svetlana Raudonen, an expert from Estonia. Future operational processes and mechanisms for electronic information exchange within the framework of customs procedures were discussed at a meeting attended by representatives of the agency, the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization, and the Public Services Agency. They also reviewed the functional and technical aspects necessary for coordinating the system's implementation phases. Previously, similar discussions were held with representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, the National Food Safety Agency, the Ministry of the Environment, and the Environmental Agency. A training session is scheduled for November 5 for IT specialists and relevant departmental units on interpreting European technical specifications and requirements for electronic data exchange. // 04.11.2026 - InfoMarket.
