Net foreign direct investment inflows into Moldova in 2025 totaled 409 million euros, while the total volume of foreign direct investment exceeded the historic threshold of 5.37 billion euros

As noted by the Investment Agency, in 2025 it facilitated the implementation of 17 investment projects with a total volume of attracted investments exceeding $46 million in strategic sectors such as energy, IT and the business services sector (BSS), automotive and electronics, the agri-food sector, financial services, the textile industry, and utilities. These figures confirm investors’ growing confidence in Moldova and our country’s ability to provide a favorable environment for business development linked to regional and European markets. Overall, the economic results for 2025 demonstrate that Moldova is becoming an increasingly stable, secure, and predictable place for investment. The Investment Agency emphasized that this year’s Moldova Business Week, to be held in Chisinau from September 28 to October 2, will place special emphasis on investment opportunities in sectors with the greatest growth potential and on the competitive advantages that Moldova offers to international investors.
