The Minister of Finance made this statement at the annual meeting of the High-Level Economic and Financial Dialogue held in Brussels. The Moldovan delegation also included Petru Rotaru, First Vice-Governor of the National Bank of Moldova (NBM). According to the Ministry of Finance, in her speech, the Minister of Finance expressed gratitude for the continued support provided by the European Union, especially within the framework of the Economic Reform Program and the Growth Plan, which are essential tools for accelerating economic transformation through reforms, investments, and expanding access to opportunities for all citizens. Victoria Belous stressed that Moldova is focusing its efforts on improving the business environment, developing human capital, and modernizing infrastructure, which contributes to sustainable economic growth. “For Moldova, the Growth Plan is not just a source of funding, it is a development strategy that brings us closer to European standards and meets the real needs of citizens,” said the head of the Ministry of Finance. She reaffirmed the government's commitment to the effective implementation of the plan by strengthening institutional capacity, digitizing processes, and creating structures for managing public investment. The event was attended by representatives of finance ministries and central banks from EU countries and partner countries.
