
Moldova and Ukraine can take part in the EU competition to create a European enterprise network.
This was reported by the EU Neighborhood East portal, noting that, in particular, the European Innovation Council and the SMEs Executive Agency/EISMEA announced a competition for the creation of an Enterprise Europe Network for the period from 1 July 2025 to 31 December 2028. The aim of the network is to help European SMEs innovate, grow and expand in the EU single market and beyond. As part of the competition, consortia will be selected to join the network. The European Commission invites applications from large business support organizations with proven experience in providing support services to SMEs. These may be, for example, chambers of commerce, crafts or industry, innovation agencies, regional development agencies, trade promotion agencies, universities, research and/or technology transfer organizations and other organizations with relevant expertise. The competition is open to Moldova and Ukraine as participating countries in the EU Single Market Programme. The estimated budget of the competition is 182.5 million euros.
