
Tariffs for natural gas for household consumers in Moldova in January-October 2023 increased by an average of 21.03%, and over the past 12 months - decreased by 38.26%.
This follows from new inflation data presented by the National Bureau of Statistics. As noted, at the same time, electricity tariffs in October 2023, compared to December 2022, decreased by 37.75%, and also decreased by 4.43% compared to October last year. Herewith, tariffs for centralized heating in October 2023 increased by 122.37% compared to December 2022, and increased by 53.73% compared to October last year. In general, tariffs for housing and communal services in October 2023, compared to December 2022, increased by 11.14%, and compared to October last year, they increased by 15.84%. Tariffs for water and sewerage services increased by 21.1% in both cases over these periods. Tariffs for passenger transportation in October 2023, compared to December 2022, increased by 19.37%, and compared to October 2022, increased by 23.96%.
