The Ministry of Finance of Moldova will hold a Gala Financiară (Financial Gala) on August 15 to award the best professionals in the financial system field.
The event is organized on the occasion of the professional day of the financial system employee - Financier's Day, which is celebrated annually on August 15. As emphasized by the authority, the winners of Gala Financiară will be determined through the prism of public evaluation, as well as by the authority's evaluation based on skills, honesty (in terms of taxation) and acceptability. The event aims to enhance professional qualifications and skills, develop the potential and productivity of those working in the financial system, in order to utilize the potential of the workforce and promote the exchange of experience. In the private sector category, there are 4 nominations: best accountant, best CFO, best auditor (general), best auditor of public interest entities. For each category mentioned, the process of nominating people will be done online, by filling in the form until August 10 this year (12:00). The Public Sector category includes the following nominations, which will be evaluated by the Ministry of Finance based on the criteria of competence and efficiency: best accountant, best auditor, and best public procurement specialist. //03.08.2023 - InfoMarket.
