The average nominal salary in the real sector of Chisinau municipality was 13,645.7 lei, which is 18.8% more than the average salary in the country (11486.2 lei). Herewith, compared to January-March 2022, wages in Chisinau increased by 20.2%. The composition of the Chisinau municipality includes the city of Chisinau, six surrounding cities (Singera, Durlesti, Vatra, Codru, Vadul-lui-Voda, Cricova) and 25 villages united in 13 communes.
