An IMF mission led by Ruben Atoyan will visit Moldova on June 15 to 21.

It was announced by the International Monetary Fund Resident Representative in Moldova, Rodgers Chawani. According to him, it will be a working visit, but not a formal review of the program with the IMF. The purpose of the visit is to update staff on the macroeconomic situation and discuss fiscal, monetary and other policies in the context of the existing Extended Credit Facility (ECF) and Extended Fund Facility (EFF) Arrangements for the Republic of Moldova. Rodgers Chawani said such staff visits are standard practice in program cases outside of the formal cycle of program reviews. // 15.06.2022 – InfoMarket
