At the same time, the volume of foreign currency sales to individuals decreased by 6.1% — from €212 million to €199.1 million. According to data from the National Bank of Moldova, the volume of euro purchases from individuals decreased by 10.6% over the last reporting month, from €375.9 million to €335.9 million, while the volume of US dollar purchases (in equivalent terms) increased by 1.7%, from €80.6 million to €82 million, other currencies (mainly pounds sterling) decreased by 24.5% from €51.5 million to €38.9 million.
