Specifically, the National Bank of Moldova (NBM) informs the public that fake messages and documents are being circulated online via messaging apps, in which the institution’s identity is being misused for malicious purposes. These materials contain elements designed to mislead the public, including the NBM logo, official-looking text, fictitious document numbers, and signatures falsely attributed to NBM management.
